Welcome to our Membership Page

Due to an exclusive agreement and cooperation between the ICA and the CCA, becoming a CCA member also makes you an ICA member, and you can enjoy the full spectrum of ICA benefits at a lower annual fee, in accordance with your level of membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

​The following are frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Cyprus Compliance Association (CCA).

 

We provide detailed answers to assist current and prospective members in understanding our

membership framework and associated benefits.

  • As an existing ICA member, am I able to join the CCA without incurring additional membership fees?
    Existing ICA members interested in joining the CCA may opt for one of two routes: Firstly, members may choose to align the commencement of their CCA membership with their next ICA renewal, thereby synchronising their memberships. Alternatively, members may initiate their CCA membership immediately by selecting the appropriate membership category and settling the full membership fee. Subsequent adjustments will be made to account for any overlap in the membership periods.
  • Could you elaborate on the requirements for each membership category?
    The CCA offers three distinct membership categories, each catering to different levels of experience and qualifications within the compliance field: - Associate (AICA): Entry-level membership, open to individuals beginning their journey in compliance. - Professional (MICA): Requires completion of an ICA Advanced Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent. - Fellow (FICA): Designed for senior professionals who have attained an ICA Professional Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent. Please note, additional fees may apply for those pursuing the Experienced Practitioner route who have not yet met the stipulated educational prerequisites.
  • Are CCA's training seminars accredited by bodies such as CySEC, ICPAC, or CYBAR?
    The accreditation of CCA seminars by regulatory bodies depends on the specific programme and its relevance to the bodies' CPD requirements. Unless accreditation is explicitly confirmed prior to a seminar, members are advised to consult with their respective regulatory authority to ascertain CPD eligibility.
  • Are there HRDA subsidies available for training seminars organised by the CCA?
    HRDA subsidies may be available for select training seminars. This subsidy will be prominently noted during the announcement of each qualifying seminar.
  • What steps should I take if I am unable to access the ICA learning hub using my CCA credentials?
    CCA and ICA platforms operate independently; thus, while the username may be identical for both platforms, passwords are not synchronised. Members facing access issues are encouraged to utilise the 'Forgot Password' feature available on the respective platform.
